Code of Conduct
The behaviour of almost all the children at the Mansfield Primary Academy is very good. That is something to be very proud of!
We use Class Dojo to recognise positive behaviour within the Academy. The children recieve rewards dependent on how many points they recieve.
These are allocated for attitude, effort, behaviour and work. Dojo points are only used positively.
Dojo points are collected and then a band system will be put in place to reward the numbers of points given. The bands are called B.E.A.M bands (Behaviour and Effort Award at Mansfield).
The children accrue points and at specific number of pints they received a different colour band. When they have received all of the bands they then receive a rainbow band. It then moves onto bronze, silver and gold. When the child receives 1000 points they then achieve the purple Behaviour Ambassador award. We promote and praise positive behaviour, building a sense of responsibility and an awareness of what is acceptable, preparing our children for life both in and out of school.
