Literacy Volunteers help children to enjoy reading and communicating. They assist in local primary schools with selected children who are finding these life skills difficult. Volunteers do not teach. They talk, play games and develop reading skills with children on a one-to-one basis in order to boost their confidence and improve their self esteem.
